I went with my Mum to Madrid for the weekend. As we are going to Nairobi in the summer we thought why not try this place out and get a gist if what the food woukd be like, it was the most delicious thing. I ordered the beef stew woth Ugali, and Chapati. It was mouthwatering, it was amazing, I was scared I wasn't going to like it as I was a picky eater but it was delicious. The Chapati was AMAZING and so was the stew. My mum ate the lentils as she's vegetarian and gluten free. She said they were the best lentils she's ever had. Honestly the service was great and the food was to die for. We did reserve a table as it a smallish restaurant.
Great flavourful food with great service and lovely atmosphere
We were in Madrid and wanted to eat something different. This restaurant was close to our hotel, so walked to it. It is really small inside, so book. The food is sensational. We had lentil stew and rice plus beef stew with chapati and ugali which was so good. The owner was charming and helful. We will definitely go back when next in Madrid.
The restaurant was super clean, great ambiance. The service was superb, we were advised on the food, the how's and asked how we would like it. Started of with a mix basket, amazing. One of us is a really, really picky eater but the after was a clean plate. The Swahili seasoning was just right, cooked to perfection. No complaints, only praises, well one complaint......can't go everyday since we do not recide in Madrid. Price was very good and wel deserved for fresh cooked, good tasting food. I highly recommed it for a good dinning experience. Just the right party for the taste buds.
We went for lunch to this African restaurant yesterday for the first time. We ordered Beef Samosas, Butternut soup and the Samosa Basket to share as entrees. I can honestly say that the Beef Samosas were the lightest, most delicious ones I have ever tasted and the accompanying sauces were amazing! For seconds we ordered Barbecue Chicken Wings, Coconut Chicken and Barbecue Pork ribs with side dishes of rice and chips in spicy sauce. Everything was extremely fresh and the presentation excellent. The Kenyan tea reminded me of home. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try something different for a change.
Tried this restaurant and honest was a great experience, from the authentic recibes from Kenya, calm and chilled restaurant atmosphere to the most adorable waiter, his warmer charming personality made the experience even more delightful. I recommend 100%
Food was greatttttt!!! I can’t even stress this enough . We were a company of 3, and between us, we had a marvelous time. Music, food, ambience. Everything
